1. About Stockwala

Stockwala is a marketplace app where hardware factories and traders in Rajkot and the rest of Gujarat and India can list surplus stock and post what they are looking for. We are a meeting point and nothing more. We do not own, inspect, store, ship or sell any goods, and we are not a party to any deal made between users.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract under Indian law.
• You log in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) sent on WhatsApp. Keep your phone safe and never share your OTP with anyone.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your name, factory, city and phone numbers correct.
• One person should have one account. Do not open accounts for others, or open a new one to get around a suspension.

3. Posting stock and requirements

• Post only stock you own or are allowed to sell. Describe it honestly: material, type, finish, sizes, quantity, price and condition, with real photos of the actual goods.
• An admin checks every post before it goes live. We may correct obvious mistakes, reject a post, hide it or remove it later.
• Your contact details are shown only to people who unlock them or who send you an enquiry through the app. When someone taps "I'm interested", you receive their name and number on WhatsApp.
• Please mark a model as Sold, or delete it, once it is gone, so buyers are not left chasing stock that does not exist.

4. What is not allowed

• Stolen, illegal or counterfeit goods, weapons, explosives, drugs, or anything that needs a licence you do not have.
• Goods you do not have or cannot supply, and posts with a misleading price, photo or description. Do not use someone else's photos as your own.
• Harassing, abusing or spamming other users, or sending unwanted promotions.
• Bots, scrapers or any tool that collects posts, phone numbers or other data from the app.
• Getting around OTP limits, security checks or the unlock system, or interfering with how the app works.
• Fake accounts, pretending to be someone else, or using Stockwala for anything unlawful.

5. Dealing with other users

Buyers and sellers agree price, payment, delivery, inspection, invoice and tax directly with each other. Stockwala does not take or hold payments and does not guarantee any deal. Before you pay, check the goods wherever you can, prefer payments that leave a record, and be careful with advance payments to people you do not know. Our Safety tips explain more.

6. Your content

What you post stays yours. By posting it you allow Stockwala to store it, resize photos and show it to other users and in the app's messages and notifications, only for running the marketplace. The Stockwala name, logo and app belong to Stockwala.

7. Cost

Using Stockwala is free at the moment. If we start paid plans, we will tell you inside the app first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

8. Messages from us

We send WhatsApp messages only for things connected to your use of the app, such as your login OTP, a decision on your post, and enquiries on your models.

9. Suspension and closing your account

We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms or the law or puts other users at risk. You can close your account any time from the app (Profile, Settings, Help and support) or by writing to us on WhatsApp or at help@stockwala.in. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

10. No guarantees and limits of responsibility

Stockwala is provided "as it is". We cannot verify every post or user, and we do not promise the quality, safety, legality or availability of any goods, or that the app will always run without errors. As far as the law allows, Stockwala is not responsible for losses from deals between users, for what users post, or for indirect or knock-on losses. Nothing here limits any right that the law does not allow to be limited.

11. Complaints

If something is wrong with a post, a user or these terms, tell us on WhatsApp, by email at help@stockwala.in, or with the Report button in the app. We aim to reply and resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Details are on the Complaints page.

12. Law and courts

These terms follow Indian law. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts at Rajkot, Gujarat.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change, and important changes will be announced in the app. If you keep using Stockwala after a change, you accept the new terms.
