In short: We keep only what the app needs: your number, name, factory, city and what you post. We do not sell your data and we show no ads. Your contact details reach another user only after they unlock them. You can ask us to correct or delete your data any time.
ટૂંકમાં: App ને જેટલું જોઈએ એટલું જ અમે રાખીએ છીએ: તમારો નંબર, નામ, factory, શહેર અને તમે મૂકેલી post. તમારો data અમે વેચતા નથી અને કોઈ જાહેરાત બતાવતા નથી. તમારો contact બીજા user ને ત્યારે જ દેખાય જ્યારે એ unlock કરે. તમે ગમે ત્યારે data સુધારવા કે delete કરવા કહી શકો.

1. What we keep
- Account: your mobile number, name, factory name, city, and the WhatsApp and call numbers you choose to show.
- What you post: models and requirements with their details and photos.
- Activity in the app: enquiries you send or receive, and the notices shown in your bell (kept for 90 days).
- Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse of the login, and our server logs may show errors. Your login token and choices such as language are saved in your own browser.
2. Why we use it
To log you in, show your posts, connect buyers and sellers, send you WhatsApp messages about your account and posts, keep the marketplace safe, answer your questions, and meet legal duties.
3. Who can see it
- Posts are visible to people logged in to the app. Your name, factory, city and WhatsApp or call number are shown to another user only after they unlock your contact or send an enquiry about your post.
- Our admins can see posts and account details so they can review posts and help users.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we show no advertising. We use these services to run the app, and they handle data only for that purpose:
- Appwrite Cloud (database and photo storage, Singapore).
- Render (hosting of the app and server, Singapore).
- WhatsApp, through our own messaging server, to send OTPs, notices and enquiries. WhatsApp also gets your number when you choose to message someone from the app.
We may also share data when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Your account and posts are kept while your account is open. When you delete a post, its photos are removed from storage by our daily clean-up.
- Notices in your bell are removed after 90 days.
- We take a weekly backup and keep only the latest two copies. Deleted data therefore leaves our backups within about 30 days.
6. Your choices
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can complain to us. To delete your account, use Profile, Settings, Help and support in the app, or message us on WhatsApp or email help@stockwala.in from or about your registered number. We check that the request is really yours, confirm within 24 to 48 hours, and finish the deletion within 30 days at most.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores only what keeps you logged in and remembers choices such as language.
8. Age
Stockwala is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep data of children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above. Important changes will be announced in the app.
